ACC
Our clinic is ACC approved, which means if you have had an accident resulting in an injury within the last 12 months, you may qualify for subsidised care. This allows you to pay less at our clinic, with ACC covering the remaining cost. Usually, you will get 16 appointments covered by ACC. You do not need to be referred to us by a doctor or other healthcare practitioner.
Injuries that can be covered by chiropractic care include sprains, strains, and dislocations of any part of the body.
Everyone is covered by ACC, including visitors to New Zealand, age, and regardless of employment status.
Process:
Schedule your first appointment here.
During your appointment, your chiropractor will assess your injury and determine if your injury is covered by ACC. If you have an existing ACC claim, bring the details to your appointment and we will be able to see you under the existing claim and do not need to create a new one.
If your chiropractor believes your injury will be covered by ACC, they will either ask you to complete an ACC form online, or, will do it for you.
From your second appointment onwards, you will start paying the subsidised rate under ACC. If for any reason your claim is denied by ACC, we’ll let you know. However, your chiropractor will only put in a claim for you if they are confident that it will be accepted.
If you would like to receive other healthcare alongside chiropractic (e.g., acupuncture, physiotherapy etc), ask your chiropractor for your ACC number and you can bring it to other ACC approved practitioners.
